Listing Standard
Six checks decide a listing.
They cover what a remote worker needs in order to work from the room. Location is not one of them: a room outside the centre that meets the standard is listed on the same terms as one inside it.
Internet
Fibre, and stable through the evening peak — not fast only at noon. Our team measures it on site, so you do not need to know your own figures.
Desk & chair
A desk you can sit at all day, a chair with a back, light and sockets at the desk itself. Eight hours a day happen here, not at a stool by the kitchen counter.
Noise
Their colleagues are in Europe and the US, so calls land at 5 AM and midnight. The room has to be quiet in those hours, not just during the day.
Backup power & internet
Cuts and line drops happen. A UPS at the desk, or a second connection to switch to, is the difference between a blip and a missed meeting. Tell us what you have and we put it in the listing.
Aircon & hot water
Both have to survive April. If the room cannot cool, the tenant does not finish the lease.
Lease terms
Monthly minimum, and open to a 3–6 month term rather than insisting on a full year. A DTV holder may stay up to 180 days per entry, so a six-month lease matches their visa cycle exactly.
